Walleyes and Northern Pike are bountiful and world record Muskie’s roam the depths of our waters. Smallmouth Bass, Perch and Crappie are also frequently caught. Polar Star Lodge is located midway between Wabigoon and Dinorwic lakes with access to nine more lakes without a portage. The Butler, Olson, Larson and Paulson chain of lakes offer up great fishing and are especially beautiful. The boat ride through the winding creeks that connect them is literally a wilderness tour. You are almost sure to see Bald Eagles, Loons, Ducks and a view of a Moose, Bear or Deer isn’t unlikely. Our abundant water offer lots of tranquility and the opportunity to fish totally undisturbed by any other boats.
