Hideaway Lodge has been a favorite destination for Northwestern Ontario fishing enthusiasts for over 80 years. Established in 1929, Hideaway Lodge was the first licensed fishing camp on Clearwater (Burditt) Lake. Our lakefront fishing cabins strike the perfect balance between modern comfort and the off-the-grid feeling that anglers look for. With five units at Main Camp on Clearwater Lake and two outposts further afield (think fly in fun at a drive in price), Hideaway Lodge has lodging options that can accommodate any group or budget. All accommodations are located on our sprawling lawn with ample parking and plenty of space for boats or trailers.
The boat of choice at Hideaway Lodge is the 17′ Lund Outfitter. We have eight on-site and available to rent. The Outfitter model has a wide bow and pedestal seats, making your trips on the water both comfortable and manageable.
