Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Belleville, Ontario
Pay Rate: $18.40 - $28.40
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support our Co-Pack Department in Belleville, Ontario. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Copack machinery to facility standards
- Assist with maintenance of manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Conduct troubleshooting activities to keep product up to quality standards
- Ensure compliance with the Ontario Heath & Safety Regulations
- Assist Line Leaders with production equipment to minimize downtime
- Reduce scrap levels by improving operating equipment performance
- Adhere to lock out/tag procedures and ensure that all safety equipment on machines is in proper working order
- Be familiar with relevant SDSs and WHMIS
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Must have basic mathematical skills
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand, lift, climb for long periods
- Strong team player and ability to work with minimal supervision
